Clergy Changes
The following changes are effective July 1, 2010, unless otherwise noted:
The Reverend James Heiser, Pastor of St. Mary Magdalen Parish in Worland, has been appointed Pastor of Holy Name Catholic Community in Sheridan and its mission churches of St. Edmund’s in Ranchester and Our Lady of the Pines in Story.
The Reverend Raymond Rodriguez, Vocation Director, has been appointed Pastor of St. Mary Magdalen Parish in Worland.
The Reverend William Hill, Parochial Vicar of St. Matthew’s Parish in Gillette, has been appointed Vocation Director of the Diocese of Cheyenne.
Deacon Timothy Martinson, upon ordination to the priesthood on May 24, 2010, will be appointed Parochial Vicar of St. Matthew’s Church in Gillette and its mission churches of St. Patrick’s Church in Moorcoft and Blessed Sacrament Church in Wright.
The Reverend Michael Adeniji, a priest of the Diocese of Osogbo in Nigeria and Parochial Vicar of St. Mary’s Cathedral in Cheyenne, will complete his ministry in the Diocese of Cheyenne, effective July 31, 2010.
The Reverend Eckley Macklin, SOLT, will complete his ministry as Parochial Administrator of St. Joseph’s Church in Lovell.
The Reverend Glen Szczechowski, in addition to serving as pastor of St. Barbara’s Church in Powell, has been appointed Parochial Administrator of St. Joseph’s Church in Lovell.
The Reverend Vernon Clark, in addition to serving as pastor of St. Anthony’s Church in Cody, has been appointed Parochial Administrator of Our Lady of the Valley Church in Clark.
Retirement
The Reverend Thomas Ogg, pastor of Holy Name Catholic Community, has been granted retirement, effective July 1, 2010.
