Head of Christ by Rembrandt, 1640’2

By now, you have discovered that I am sharing the daily live feed Mass with the rector of the Cathedral and one of our auxiliary bishops. I will normally take the Tuesday, Friday and Sunday Masses.

In the readings today, (John 10) Jesus teaches that he and the Father are one. In Jesus, Son of God and Son of Man, we see God in human flesh. We come to know God in Jesus. In Jesus we speak with God and enter into relationship and life.

In the Acts of the Apostles, (Acts 11)we learn how to live as those who come to know Jesus and follow him. As Christians, we now proclaim Jesus to the world by our witness of life and our teaching.
