For the past four and a half years, a group of men have faithfully gathered one weekend a month to participate in the formation program for permanent deacons. Last night, the five men who remain received the ministry of acolyte; the last formal step before being ordained deacons in May. They have three more formation weekends before ordination. They and their family and friends who gathered with them last night are quite excited to have reached this stage of formation!
Please pray for these men in the coming months that they may serve the Lord well, through their love and service of God’s holy, faithful people.
