On this Holy Thursday night, we are very much like the people of Israel on that first Passover night in Egypt. They were in their homes praying that angel of death would indeed ‘passover’ them. We, too, like many around the world are in our homes, praying that we and our loved ones be spared from the ravages of the pandemic spreading globally.

I’ll leave you to watch the Mass below to listen to the homily.

May we claim Jesus once again as our Teacher and Master.

May he sustain us in carrying on his mission of proclaiming his Word, celebrating his Sacraments, and exercising his great work of Charity. In the end, this is who we are as church, and what we celebrate tonight!
