Who does not seek the blessing of God?! Jesus Christ is our greatest blessing! And Jesus is ours because of Mary, who became his mother, and in so doing, became the Mother of God.
As we begin a new year, as every year, we celebrate this first day of the year as a Holy Day, dedicated to Mary, the Mother of God. We come seeking the Lord’s blessing. As the Shepherds, we go forth making known the message that we have received – that God has come to earth as man and as Savior. We go forth rejoicing and giving praise to God for the marvelous wonder of his ways!
Mary, Mother of God and Mother of the Church, pray for us!
