Today’ readings for Mass are a reminder that of old, God spoke to his people through prophets and angels. In the Incarnation, God spoke his Word which took flesh to manifest the presence of God in the world in the person of Jesus. Since that time, we hear this voice of God and experience the presence of God in Jesus Christ.
The mystery and omnipotence of God remain, but the bridge of Communication has been built in the person of Jesus Christ!
St. Paul says this eloquently in the Letter to the Romans. (16:25-27)
To him who can strengthen you, according to my gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret for long ages but now manifested through the prophetic writings and, according to the command of the eternal God, made known to all nations to bring about the obedience of faith, to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ be glory forever and ever. AMEN
Please take time to listen to God’s Word and today’s homily below.
Peace.
