Today’s Readings provide us encouraging words from the person of Jesus: “Do not let your hearts be troubled.”

Living in this time of global pandemic presents many challenges, which cause emotional stress, anxiety, fear and doubts of all kinds, even in the realm of faith. During such times of trial, it is important to remain with Jesus, and prayerfully know he is with us. Knowing the Risen Jesus in an intimate way allows him to speak to us the words of the resurrection: “Do not be afraid. Peace be with you!”

Jesus instructs us today: “I am the way, the truth and the life.” As we grow in our own relationship with Christ, we come to know the truth of his words. Believing Jesus is the way, it is enough to follow him, so we can find our way – not only through this life, but to the Life that is eternal in heaven where he lives with the Father and the Holy Spirit.

Peace!
