In today’s readings, The Book of Wisdom speaks of the Just One and the trouble he will endure. We know that Jesus is the Just One, and as Holy Week approaches, we begin to hear of the open designs of the Scribes and Pharisees to take his life.
As Jesus relied upon ‘the one who sent him,’ we rely upon Jesus for our growth in faith and holiness.
