God in His wisdom and infinite goodness has filled the world with a great diversity which is wonderful to behold. Four years ago the Archdiocese of Seattle began a celebration to bring together all the different ethnic groups that make up the family of faith in Western Washington. This gathering is called “All Our Saints”.

This morning in St. James cathedral, we celebrated the diversity and richness that is found in our many parishes. We are invited once gain to recognize every person as a sister or brother in Christ. We are challenged to lift up the dignity of every human being.

We are called be more and more conformed to Christ each day. We are sent to proclaim Christ to the world by the way we live our faith in intimate communion with God and neighbor.

You can watch the celebration below, and listen to the homily.

Peace!
