As we continue to celebrate Easter throughout the Octave, let us listen attentively to the readings from the Acts of the Apostles – as they are instructive to us. Peter begins to proclaim Jesus Christ to the nations, and THIS is the MISSION of the church. This is what we are called to continue in the world today.
The Resurrection of Jesus was an historical event, but one with eternal consequences. Let us prayerfully seek deeper understanding of this mystery of how Jesus through his death and resurrection frees us today from sin. Let us continue to prayerful seek deeper Fatih in this resurrection, for those of us who believe will have eternal life!
