On another feast of our Blessed Mother – today as Our Lady of Guadalupe, we commissioned the parish coordinators for this year’s celebration of Simbang Gabi.
Our Blessed Mother, like every other mother longs to gather her family and friends around her. Our devotion to the Blessed Mother is so important for rooting the faith into the lives of our young and our families. Every mother gives advice to her children, and Mary as the Mother of God is always ready to give us advice for our journey of faith.
Let us cultivate our faith by strengthening our devotion to the Blessed Mother as well as to St. Joseph during this Year of St. Joseph.
Once again, I invite you to take time to listen to the readings of Mass as well as the homily. Open your hearts and minds to God’s Word, Jesus Christ. Allow the Mother of God to draw you closer to Jesus and to the family of God, the Church.
