Though the winter storm did not develop in Cheyenne quite to its billing, we did receive about six inches of snow overnight. At the time of this post, around 1:30 on Tuesday, we are near blizzard conditions. Temperatures have reached single digits, winds are quite strong, and the snow is falling at a heavy pace. I 80 is closed across the full length of the State of Wyoming, as is most of I 25.
Though it is posing a considerable inconvenience for travel, and not allowing me to reach a few scheduled confirmation celebrations, it is none-the-less an answer to prayer for much needed moisture. This storm will go a long way to rebuilding the snow pack in the higher elevations. Thank God for this answer to prayer.
