Jesus speaks often of sin and the need to believe in him. Today, he asks that we live in his Word. He also says that those who refuse to believe his Word will die in sin.
The sin at the moment of creation was refusal to believe (keep) God’s Word.
The sin at the moment of re-creation, when Jesus was establishing the new and eternal covenant, was refusal to believe (keep) His Word.
I invite you to take a look at Psalm 36 today to see how sin impacts our life, perspective and actions. Then, take a moment to take the Word of Jesus into your home, into your heart, and experience again what it means to be truly free through the Word of Jesus.
