It is looking more like Christmas than the beginning of the Triduum at the Cheyenne Cathedral today!
Despite the weather outside, I am grateful to have the business demands of these days finally behind me. It is a welcome moment to begin to prayerfully enter into the spirit of these holy days.
I hope and pray your Lenten observance has helped you grow in virtue and holiness. Ultimately, these steps forward in the spiritual journey are a part of the ultimate goal of drawing nearer to Christ.
I continue to pray for all of you, that all of God’s people may have the grace to benefit from the Passion of Christ. May those who do not believe in him come to know him. May all of us who do believe in Christ have the grace to live our faith at even deeper and more meaningful levels.
The Passion of Christ draws nearer. Let us accompany him in these holy days of Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday, that we may have a joyful celebration of new life in the Risen Christ on Easter Sunday!
No matter what the weather, the one surest sign of Spring is the Risen Christ!
